The cardinal rule is you don't foul jump shooters -- especially 3-point shooters. That's not what a good team does.

The game plan was not for A.J. to get two fouls in the first three minutes. Jeremy did a good job carrying us. He did a tremendous job in the first half.

The first year is not easy. You have to get acquainted with the players who are there, recruit new players who fit the system, and prepare the team for every game. Plus, you get to make the game-time decisions which affect the team.

The home court isn't going to win it for us. We'll have to play well.

Their big guy causes problems for A.J.. A.J. struggled, and we can't rely on our jump shooting to win.

He played really well. He's going to be a terrific player. I'm glad he's on our team. It was a big game and he's a big-time player. When he brings that effort every night and he brings it on a consistent basis, he can be a special player.

I believe he will make an impact. Now, how big an impact? We won't know until he gets here and starts playing. But this kid is talented. He also is a smart player. He will mature and get stronger once he gets here.

In terms of effort, it was there. In terms of execution, it wasn't. Too many turnovers. Too many breakdowns. We had them on the ropes. We just couldn't finish.

In this league, you have to handle runs. You've got to find a way to win.

If somebody told me that two days ago, let's play a game for 11 minutes, and you get a four-point lead, I'd grab that one.
